ABOUT PAOLA
Industrial Engineer with a 5.0 focus and Professional Engineer (MIEAust), recognized by Engineers Australia for her ability to design and lead complex systems, integrate human and social dimensions, and solve problems through a holistic perspective.
With over a decade of international experience across Colombia, Australia, and Japan, she integrates engineering, data, and culture to drive sustainable transformation in diverse organizations and multicultural environments.
She holds training in Artificial Intelligence for Business and Remote Leadership from Harvard HBS, along with studies in Project and Program Management. She is currently expanding her capabilities through Strategic Data Use for Engineers, strengthening her ability to integrate analytics, systems thinking, and decision-making.
Accredited within the Production, Plant, and Mechanical Engineers group in Australia and New Zealand, she brings a multidisciplinary background and a systemic vision to high-complexity environments.
In 2025, she was selected for the Co-Creation Challenge Team at Expo Osaka, Japan, one of the world’s most influential innovation events, where she contributed to projects aligned with Society 5.0 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), bringing a perspective that blends technology, society, and human meaning.

EXPERIENCE
Led audits and regional contract compliance, managing budgets and administrative, financial, and quality processes. Coordinated risk-related services and key relationships, strengthening her ability to analyze operational structures and navigate multidimensional environments early in her career.
Joined a mixed-jurisdiction court, applying her investigation training to manage cases and procedures. This experience strengthened her structural analysis, understanding of institutional systems, human dynamics and relationships, and her ability to navigate procedures and compliance requirements.
Managed operations and projects for multinational companies in the chemical, steel, hydroelectric, and construction sectors. Combined full-time work and studies as an analyst and project leader, gaining strategic and operational experience in demanding industrial environments.
